    My Mcaffe Vault is not opening


    After some time i was trying to open my Mcaffe vault which is in disk and drivers and I have stored some my personal informations, I was unable to access the file I have store in the vault. Please help me to fix the issue

    OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

    I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
    Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

    Steps taken:
    - sign in using my Outlook account
    - select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
    - paste that into the verification screen

    After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

    Any suggestions?

    Forgotten password for Personal Vault

    Hi,

    I haven't entered a wrong PIN

    I got through my two step verification and opened my vault.

    However, in my vault I have a document which I password-protected and now can't open it. That is my query - how to open a document in my vault.

    Vault cannot open PDFs

    Hi Gary,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to open PDFs added to the Vault on your PC.

    Assuming that you are using OneDrive Personal Vault and you are using Adobe Reader to open the PDF files, we can check the security settings in Adobe Reader and see if you are able to open the files.

    To do this,

    • Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    • Click on Edit in the Menu bar and select Preferences.
    • Under Categories, click on Security (Enhanced).
    • On the right hand side, uncheck “Enable Protected Mode at startup” and click on OK.
    • Restart Adobe Acrobat Reader and try opening the PDF files.
