Discus and support my mediatek mt7921 on my ASUS FA506IHR gets disconnected persistently. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have an ASUS FA506IHR TUF running on windows 11.     my mediatek mt7921 on my ASUS FA506IHR gets disconnected persistently.


    I have an ASUS FA506IHR TUF running on windows 11. My mediatek MT7921 always cashes. The wifi icon will be missing and I have to restart again again everytime it disconnects. Rightnow it is abvisouly working but I am sure later on it will disconnect again.

    Thanks to you i have fixed this problem. I have Asus M16 (2021) and wifi card disconnected random. Now it's ok. I hope that windows update doesn't blow everything up again....

    Hi,

    I also have the same disconnect issue. I haven't tried switching the driver but I'll let folks know how that goes. I have two drivers to test - the MediaTek "Forced" that's been suggested and a MediaTek driver from Lenovo - even though I have an ASUS. I'm reasonably adept at changing drivers.

    I need internet so I got a USB WLAN device. I don't know how that will work since I'm also getting occasional connection from the MediaTek.

    There is a link in this thread to the "Forced" driver which Google Chrome has blocked from D/L as malicious. Be wary.
