Windows 10: My mic is really low and I'm running a xlr mic

Discus and support My mic is really low and I'm running a xlr mic in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I can send screenshots...the mic isn't too old at all, and the I/O is cranked up for hardware and software wise.     USB Mic Problems.

    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

    Mic level is too low

    Thanks Ted, yes. I was thinking about this and I remember read that the issue (not having the Mic boost) is because this is an integrated camera with mic OR this is the basis driver within the OS

    The Tonor mic needs phantom power. Do you have a recommended interface that uses a control program?

    Low mic volume: I checked Settings > System > Sound > Input > When I speak my mic sounds very quiet on my pc I use a Beacon mic. when I go to Device properties and do a test I found that the highest my volume went to when testing the input the was 28% and most times it was around 15-20%....

    Reinstalled Windows 10, Mic volume really low.: So I just reinstalled Windows 10 and now my mates can barely hear me from my microphone even though I've put everything on 100 and it should be louder. I've googled everything but found no solution. Think it's the Realtek drivers, but have no idea how to fix this. 154207
