Windows 10: MY MIC ISNT LOUD

Hello, I’m here to ask about my mic not being loud now if you want the details of my mics brand etc if needed I’ll say but the problem is it cost a lot and is meant to be a loud mic but it isn’t I was recording a video and could barely hear myself if you guys have any fixes please help I’ve tried everything I don’t know if I’ve plugged it in the wrong hole. I don’t understand why all my friends mics are louder and all I have is a foam cover over to make it sound better and shouldn’t get rid of the audio I’ve gon into audio levels on windows and put it to max and it still doesn’t sound “loud” s

hello, first off i would like to claim i didnt buy a **** mic so i was recording a video and my audio was so low i tried to change the settings but for some reasons my mic isnt getting a lot of sound can you help me or have a fix please and thank you

 

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

my mic isnt working

so my mic on my pc hasnt been working lately. i was recently on a discord call with my friend and while talking, my mic suddenly disconnected. i searched in the settings to change it to the input device but it wasnt even an option. i have unplugged it and plugged it back in multiple times and it still isnt working. can someone please help me.
