Windows 10: My mic keeps giving loud static noises when I try to talk

My headphones are fine I can hear but when I talk thought my mic I get this ear screeching sound and I’ve tried everything even got a new mic but it’s persistent can you please help me. I’m in windows 11

When I talk through my mic there is no voice but very loud static.

Whenever I talk through my headset there is no noise but when I click on listen to this device screeching noise that fills my microphone levels all the way up it is so loud that I can’t even bear to hear it for more than 1 second. I know it is not
my mic because I tested 3 different mics and this happens to each one and I tried with a 3.5mm and a usb and it’s the same thing. I tried connecting the pc at a different wall connector but it’s still the same please help. I even put my mic to 20db and volume
100 but there is still no voice coming out just static and this happens to all the 3 mics I have.

 

Occasional really loud static noise in mic

I have a Hyperx Quadcast microphone and I record with OBS, every now and then there will be a really loud static noise that actually hurt my ears when I played back one of my recordings, it seems to go on for maybe 15 or 20 minutes before going back to normal audio, although it doesn't happen in any consistent manner. I have also had this same problem in Discord calls and with a cheap usb mic, I have tested both the cheap mic and my current mic on other computers and I do not have the same problem. Also I am on windows 10 and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, and installing drivers in compatibility mode, none of these helped the issue. The only way I have found to stop this is to disconnect and reconnect the mic, but I cannot really do this while recording because I don't have a second monitor to view the mic while recording.

 

Static noise, a loud buzzing noise

I recently bought a Nokia 3720 Classic which I like quite a lot, especially the clean, simple looks and quality screen.

But there's something that may be or may become a problem.

When calling there's this loud buzzing static noise, a noise I myself and the people on the other end can hear very clearly and which is very annoying.



BUT - and this is the point why I am not sure if I should make an issue out of this - ONLY at a certain volume level: in all cases a simple lowering or increasing the loudness will get rid of this static.

The last time I phoned when I had this static noise, the volume was set at 4 (4 green stripes) and when I lowered it or increased it it was gone.



So my questions:

Is there anyone else who has this trouble? maybe specifically when the volume is set at 4?

Should I make an issue out of this?

And is there some explanation why lowering or increasing the volume will get rid of the static?
