Windows 10: My mic wont record voice thats longer than 1 second

Discus and support My mic wont record voice thats longer than 1 second in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; when i use my mic in discord or audacity everytime my recording volume stays the same for more than 1 seconds, the voice suddenly died down/went quiet....     when i use my mic in discord or audacity everytime my recording volume stays the same for more than 1 seconds, the voice suddenly died down/went quiet. the example is when i try to sing and record it whether using the voice recorder app/ audacityeverytime the volume stays the same for 1 sec the volume suddenly went quiet. i cant even talk in discord if the word i say is longer than 1 sec or i scream for more than 1 sec the volume suddenly went quiet. Please can anyone help. im sorry if you can't understand my problem here, english is my third language.

    Record my voice and sounds comes from speaker at the same time

    I recently purchased a laptop that has one audio jack (headset) instead of two jacks (one more Mic and one for Speaker)

    I want to record my voice for few seconds and then bring the Mic near the speaker and record sound coming from speaker for few more seconds and then continue recording my voice.

    With the new laptops seems like they added some setting which Mic wont record the sound comes from speaker. Even if I stick the Mic to the Speaker it wont record it and only record my voice or any other voice other than Speaker

    Is there any solution for this rather than buying another laptop with two jacks?

    screen recoeding wont record my voice

    I was recording a video on my laptop with the built in screen capture when we finished recording I was editing the video all i could only hear my friends voice (we were on skype) in the video I couldn't hear my voice I'm thinking do I need a usb mic or
    is my built in mic messed up
