Windows 10: My microphone array suddenly stopped working. I only use it for Zoom meeting. Tried opening...

My microphone would not work during a Zoom meeting. I could hear the person on the other end; she could not hear me. I tried recording my own voice but could not get it to play back. Looking in settings, I saw the mic was disabled, so I enabled it. No help. Using a Dell All-in-One desktop with an integrated web cam. Unplugged and replugged the machine; no help. I am currently forced to do one-one one Zoom meetings using Zoom for video and an iPhone for audio. DOes this sound like shudder a hardware problem? Should I buy an external mic? Would it work with my camera. Thanks for any advice.

Microphone array not working

My microphone array suddenly stopped working. It is not not showing up in apps or the internal test. But it is working in an online test on chrome. I checked and have the latest drivers and have also tried other diagnostic method. Please help to to solve and understand why this is happening.

My surface pro microphone has suddenly stopped working when I am using zoom. The troubleshooter is not resolving the issue. What can i do?

 

Microphone not working with meeting apps, zoom and google hangouts etc

My microphone is working properly, I have gone through all of the steps recommended by all of the apps and articles online. Multiple times.

The microphone will work for 2 or 3 seconds and then stop working in both zoom and google hangouts. I used zoom several times earlier this week without any issue. I didn't change any settings. Just. stopped. working.
