removing microsoft account

There are no restrictions listed at https://accounts.microsoft.comYet when i try and acces chrome for instance it wil send a request to the "parent account" of which none exist and then give an error when there is no parent account to request from. I have
done as was suggested by another microsoft employee and added myself to their family and removed restrictions and removed myself from the family again but as i said in the question, i still have the restrictions in place and microsoft has not given any real
help with my issue short of what was previously listed.

 

Unlocked device from Microsoft account error - no unlock option

Using my phone - I logged into my Microsoft account online and located my device (my laptop- up to date software Microsoft 10 or 11) and I locked it temporarily

I found my laptop and I turned it on and the screen says

• ENTER PIN
  

Then it says

• “An administrator has restricted sign in. To sign in, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and have your administrator sign in first”.
  
• I double checked my internet connection. All good.
  
• Try logging back in on the computer and it it say ENTER PIN again annnnd then it say “ An administrator has restricted sign in. To sign in, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and have your administrator sign in first”.
  

SO next thing I tried was

• logging into my phone. Get into finding my device. The map shows up with the location of my locked laptop and the 100%
  
• BUT there is no unlock button! I can only relock my device (which I’ve tried and it made no difference)
  

SO next thing I tried was

• making sure Wi-Fi on my phone and Wi-Fi on the laptop we’re the same
  
• Restarted both devices - didn’t change the outcome
  

SO next thing I tried was

• grabbing my work computer, logging into the same Wi-Fi, log into my Microsoft account, locate my laptop on my devices and NO unlock button available to click
  

SO next thing I tried was

• read up on everything online and not one Microsoft agent was able to give good advice and no one could update discussion accurately
  

So here I am

Please help.

I refuse to reset my laptop, erase everything on it and start over.

I can not do that. I need this problem resolved

It seems to be a new issue that people are asking questions about on here since September 2023

Please someone look into this!!!!
