    My microsoft account with an @gmail.com was hacked


    My same email username with an @gmail.com ending was hacked and I can’t recover it since microsoft itself states "it’s not a valid user" but that’s my gmail microsoft email that was locked…. They might have deleted my account because i refused to pay for it and they. changed everything from my recovery email to my phone number and all the other things too. Please help me I can’t even login to my laptop because the account is compromised and it states : "this device is locked by an administrator. Have any administrator sign in."my account has 100% been hacked and I was trying to prevent it sinc

    gmail hacked

    Make new user account first, or use some other system if you can ..

    Not necessary been hacked - could be spam.
    Check latest account activity at gmail

    Any unknown sources - your accound was compromised.

    Change password, and set 2 step verification.

    Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

    Gmail
    Outlook

    The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

    I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

    My EA account has been hacked

    EA needs step two verification and now. The way Origin and Battlelog is setup now its a free for all. They need to take note from Steam and Gmail on how to secure an account.
