Windows 10: My Microsoft account's email has been changed, and I cannot access it anymore.

My microsoft account only has data from Minecraft and other games, yet I have paid for them and want my data back. I have seen people getting data transfers to other accounts by calling microsoft, but I am unable to even get through to Microsoft support, and the support number offers no help other than 'Support has moved online', which does not help due to the recovery form not allowing me to do anything or even get through because my 'account doesn't exist'. I have tried countless things and my account's email has been changed to a rambler.ru email. I do not know what to do and I only want a

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.

Do you want to replace the current account with another Microsoft Account?

I suggest you to convert the current Microsoft Account to a local account and then convert back to Microsoft account but while doing so add the new Microsoft account that you want to replace with the old.

This way you would not need to transfer all her applications, software, data, etc.

1. Convert Microsoft Account to a local account

• From the Desktop. Press the Windows key and then press the letter R.
• This will bring up the run box.
• Type Control Panel and click OK.
• This will bring up the control panel and you will be able to access the user accounts from there.
• To change to local account, do the above steps, If in category view Click on user accounts and Family safety.
  
• Then click on user accounts. Click on make changes to my account in PC settings. You should be able to change to a local account.

2. Convert local account to a Microsoft Account


Step 1:
Go to Start

Settings > Accounts > Your account.

Step 2:

Look to see which kind of account you used to sign in:

• A Microsoft account. If you're already signed in with a Microsoft account, your name and email address appear above your account picture.
• A local account. If you're signed in with a local account, you'll see the words
  Local Account below your name, along with the Connect to a Microsoft account link.

Switch your local account to a Microsoft account.

Step 1:
Go to Start

, and select
Settings > Accounts > Your account.

Step 2:
Select Sign in with a Microsoft account.

You might have to verify your password.

If you need to change the email address associated with the user account, first you have to switch the login account to

Local user account. Then switch back to Microsoft account and provide the desired Email ID to that user account.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps
