Windows 10: My Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard turns off after about 1 minute idle.

It has never worked same as this guy. But you guys never answer any questions on here. Just close them. 34 people said they have same issue. Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard

I replaced the batteries on my Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard and then started to type. The keyboard worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped. My mouse still works and so does my number pad. If I take the batteries out again (new batteries) and put them back in it only works again for 5 minutes and same problem. Is there a fix for this problem? I love the keyboard

 

Microsoft Sculpt Wireless Keyboard won’t connect after 1 YR

I have been having issues with my Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard lately. I ordered this keyboard exactly one year ago, today (2/11).

The keyboard intermittently has connection and responds to keystrokes but today I haven’t had any luck with connection. I know the transceiver dongle is working perfectly fine since the detached keypad responds without issue. I’ve done all the steps listed on the help page for device connectivity, I’ve checked the batteries and they’re fairly new, I’ve done everything I can!

I don’t want to have to get a new keyboard since this was pretty expensive and it has been the most comfortable keyboard I’ve had. It’s just frustrating when I have no way to log in to my laptop except for undocking it and using the laptop keyboard!

Please help!

 

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Interesting issue:

Recently started a new job, they purchased me the sculpt wireless keyboard and mouse for the office. The 1/! and 2/@ Keys don't always work, weird thing is Microsoft already sent me a replacement and that one does the same thing, I have a Logitech K520 wireless
keyboard at home, and it works just fine. Not sure what they deal is, I have already installed the Microsoft Keyboard and mouse center, I have deleted drivers and reinstalled. Previous to this I had a Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic wireless Keyboard and it worked
fine until my company upgraded my computer to Windows 10, it start acting bizarrely and eventually died.

I guess im more than likely going to have to go back to a wired keyboard, not sure whats up with the microsoft stuff but its not working for me. Anyone got any ideas?
