Windows 10: My microsoft store is just straight up broken i cant play any microsoft games even if i pay...

This is what shows up when i try to download anything I've tried online tutorials I've tried looking through other's questions I did the command prompt stuff there aren't any corrupt files that I can find am I really stuck like this until I get a new PC like I cant even run Minecraft anymore its been like six months of looking for solutions and nothing seems to work please tell that there is some sort of way of fixing this and if there isn't I would at least like to get compensated for the amount I spent on Minecraft which is $25.

My build is 19044.1288 (preview builds are not applied).

Suggest you review yours and consider uninstalling any preview updates, for example, if indeed the problem is caused by one.

You can then install updates in turn - the Control Panel, Program and Features view is most helpful there - and see if the Store works again.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Why the microsoft store is broken?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to update Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 as required by the game to play, and this time it has to go trough the microsoft store. Trying to update results in "Something unexpected happened". Off course I tried to reboot my combuter, to reset the
microsoft store.... Yes my windows is up to date.

But please explain how a store made by microsoft on their own operating system is so broken? I should not have to try 10 differents things to resolve such an issue. This error concerns a lot of people as a quick google search shows. Still, Microsoft doesn't
care and there the microsoft store remains broken. (I'm not even talking about download errors that can occur it a 10+ Gb download and will force you to download from scratch).

I've paid a game 70+, and I can't play it because it is dependent of the Microsoft store.
