Windows 10: My microsoft store updates are stuck on pending AND it's persisting

My Microsoft store won't let me update my games, because they're all constantly stuck on pending. I can't even cancel the pending updates of things i don't really care about so i can focus on updating the things I do. And it never makes any progress, it just cycles between "pending" "acquiring lisence" and "downloading progress 1%" over and over again.I've tried every popular way of fixing this error, from the winreset.exe command, to terminate and repair the app, even the microsoft powershell route. But absolutely nothing seems to work. What do I do?

Microsoft Store stuck at Pending on Windows 11

Same issue - new W11 machine. Store is completely stuck. All updates just stuck "Pending" forever. None of the steps described fix this.

The latest updates from Windows Store are all stuck on pending.

This is not something which has happened before, and it appears that there was a successful update of four apps on 4th April, so not too long ago.

Any suggestions on how to get things moving?

I have used two different internet connections so that isn't the issue.

Yesterday the Microsoft Store was stuck on pending so I reinstalled Windows 11 and half a day later it looks like it's stuck on pending again.

I'm not reinstalling every time the store breaks. I guess I'll just hope the next Windows 11 update fixes it.
