Windows 10: My Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 overheats just after a few minutes of using it

I have had this laptop for around 5 months, and since a couple of days ago, it has been overheating just after a few minutes of using it. It starts making a fan-like sound very aggressive, which I understand is to cool it down? However, that does not work and the laptop continues to stay warm. I have done a diagnostic toolkit on the laptop and it still does not work. Please can someone help me solve this as I have only had like laptop for a few months and such problems should not already arise.

If anyone was curious about The Surface 3 Laptop performance, running programs at different times, I do chunks of research sometimes of independent/multidisciplinary studies and coursework so sometimes I have lots of tabs open .

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.

Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

*Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.
