Windows 10: My monitor hz changed and is capped

Hello, my Pc was fine yesterday and was running on 144hz.Today when i woke up, it was set automatically to 60hz and every other options got deleted. I tried to set it manually several times on 144hz but I keep getting a black screen and its going back to 60hz. informationrocessor AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Quad-Core Processor, GTX 1060 6GBMSI Optix G24C4

My Monitor Changes Hz When I Unplug My Second Monitor in Dual Display

My monitor changes from 60 Hz to 120 Hz after i unplug my second monitor from dual display, i want to stop my monitor from constantly changing Hz so is there anyway i can fix the Hz at 60?, Any help would be appreciated thanks!

 

Windows locks hz to all monitors if animations

Upon further checking on your concern, this is a design limitation as Windows tries to sync both monitors. It treats both monitors as 1, thus it drops the FPS on the 144 HZ monitor.
