Windows 10: my monitor is not detecting my laptop

Discus and support my monitor is not detecting my laptop in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; OKi so I have a laptop with broken screen but I can see 1/4 portion of it on the bottom left and I decided to connect that laptop to my acer v196hql...     my monitor is not detecting my laptop


    OKi so I have a laptop with broken screen but I can see 1/4 portion of it on the bottom left and I decided to connect that laptop to my acer v196hql monitor via hdmi to vga cable but my monitor is not detecting my laptop and is showing no signal meanwhile I can see my laptop detecting my monitor as a 2nd display if u can help me with this I will be thankful!!

    Windows 11 cannot detect my second monitor. Help. I did all the suggested troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

    Laptop display does not detect itself

    Hi,

    In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on System.
    • Under System, choose Display.
    • Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

    my monitor is not detecting my laptop

    Windows 10 not detecting ViewSonic 2265 Monitor

    I have searched the forums and tried all the suggests on getting my laptop to detect second monitor to no avail. What amd I missing? I have downloaded the drivers for my monitor and still nothing.
