Windows 10: My monitor shows "no signal" after something unrelated to it unplugs, how can I fix this?

So basically, I have my PC and Monitor plugged into an outlet and I have an extension cord plugged into the other side of my room that has a fan plugged into it l, sometimes the fan unplugs because of its position and my monitor acts as if it changed its display type HDMI, etc. but it's still on HDMI the one I use and it says "no signal", I've tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it and plugging it back in and taking the HDMI cords out and putting them back in and the issues still happens. Also after it does it, I have to turn my PC off and back on which for some reason ONLY after

PC boots up but monitor shows 'no signal' and keyboard not working.

My W10 PC boots up, fan spins, HDD spins but there is no output to monitor, which shows 'no signal' and the keyboard does not light up. I have tried all the suggested diagnostics such as unplug power, take out the CMOS battery, re-seat the RAM, clean RAM etc but nothing. It did come back on a few weeks ago for a few days then reverted to display showing 'no signal'. Any suggestions how to get this PC to display and work again are welcome.

Many posts i have read suggest entering BIOS etc or settings - i cannot do this as no display!

Please suggest fixes for my situation as above.

Why is everything so big if the monitor gets unplugged?

I haven't tried any of these suggestions, but the monitor coming unplugged happens when the computer is off. I walk past the computer a lot and there's really not a good way, if I step on the duct tape, to prevent the monitor from coming unplugged.

 

No Monitor signal

Try unplugging the monitor cable that goes to the computer and replugging it when there is no signal.
