Windows 10: My monitor sometimes flicker and sometimes show some solid colours... And i wouldn't be...

My initial thought is that maybe it is caused by the gpu... Because when i connected to the motherboard it is working fine... But also... Sometimes my gpu also works fine... Like yesterday, i was using the gpu for like more than 6 hours and did some gaming too... It worked fine. But today, when i booted up my windows, the problem started happening after some time. Can anyone help me on this... Because i really couldn't afford a new one.

I just read an article in the new Linux magazine on the use of Ramdisks. Using those as a file system can drastically speed up read and write performance. That would be a cool feature to build in the OS of mobile phones that hold a memory card anyway, wouldn´t
it. Then saving a large Excel sheet wouldn´t take ages as it does now (on my E61 anyway), but just a few seconds...

Monitor Dim and Flickers

I have a new Dell Inspiron 3668 cpu and running it with my old Dell ST2010 I have run the windows "troubleshoot screen flickering in Windows 10" from Windows help. When I go to task Mngr. it still flickers. So, I uninstalled the display driver as suggested
and then ran the "Check for updates". The problem still remains. Any further suggestions?? My next step is to just replace the monitor and assume Windows 10 will not run it!

 

Solid Colour background preview

When I select/assign a new picture as background, the preview just shows the solid colour I picked instead of the image.

How do I solve this to show the preview of the selected picture?
