Windows 10: my monitor stopped working almost a year, started again, then stopped, does anyone know how...

a year ago my monitor stopped working and yesterday i finally reset it to its original settings and all of a sudden it started to work. then when i turned it on today it stopped working again. when i turned on my pc my monitor would either turn off or change its connection from hdmi to display port i use an hdmi cable. when i try to turn on my monitor again my pc shuts off. i have already tried to reset it, run the self-diagnosis, route the hdmi cable from the motherboard instead of the gpu, etc. and nothing seems to work. for reference before this happened a year ago my monitor had worked f

Start Button Stopped Working

Yesterday the start button stopped responding. Cortana works okay and right clicking the start button opens a long list beginning with Programs and Features through Desktop. I restored from a point yesterday before experiencing the problem. Did not help.
Any suggestions?

 

My second monitor stopped working

My second monitor stopped working tonight. When I reboot the PC both monitors work, I see the start up screens on both but when Windows gets to the log in screen, the second monitor turns off. I have verified both DVi cables are working as I can switch
them back and forth and both monitors work with the main cable. I have looked at the Device Settings and the second monitor doesn't show up nor can it be detected after boot up. Its been working fine for years and I have done nothing different tp the settings.
It just stopped.

 

Windows 10 app store recently stopped working

• Right-click Start and open Command Prompt (Admin).
• Run these codes:
  
  Net Stop bits
  
  Net Stop wuauserv
  
  Net Stop appidsvc
  
  Net Stop cryptsvc
  
  Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
  
  Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
  
  Net Start bitsNet Start wuauservNet Start appidsvc
  
  Net Start cryptsvc
• After running these commands, check if your issue is fixed.
