  1. My Monitor won't display the WinRE/Advanced Startup

My pc for some reason never shows the manufacturer's logo when starting up, and the monitor starts working only when i am in windows and have to type my password, the same thing happens when i go into the advanced start up i just get a blank screen until i shut down the pc and turn it on again to go into windows and type my password.I do know that when i go into the advanced start up screen its probably working because when i press the caps lock and num lock on my keyboard the little light on the keyboard turns on which i think means that its working at least.I am using a Lenovo IdeaCentre T54

  2. Monitor not displaying the WinRE/Advanced Startup

My PC is having a problem with the PIN, and is saying the PIN is unavailable. I have attempted to fix the problem by trying to reset the PC, but when I do Shift + Restart in the login screen it doesn't display the troubleshoot screen required on my monitor. I believe the screen is still functional however, as I am able to restart my PC from this "Blank" screen by pressing the arrow keys and enter. If someone is able to help me navigate to the reset PC screen and/or help me display the WinRE on my monitor, that would help a lot!

My PC and my Monitor only have one HDMI cable and port, and my Monitor also has the power cord plugged in. There's no other wires that are needed to display.

I'm also on Windows 11, and I have tried to access the BIOS and Safe Mode, but I'm unable to as I can only see the screen when it is on the actual regular Windows.

UPDATE: After trying to navigate the WinRE using reference images, My PC seems to be doing something. I pressed down arrow and enter twice which restarted my PC but the Monitor still isn't on. I'm not sure if this is the PC resetting as the arrow keys and enter do nothing.

  3. Monitor not displaying the WinRE/Advanced Startup

Thanks for the reply, the manufacturer of the motherboard is Gigabyte, I think, and the model is A520M S2H. There's not much else I know about the PC as I had it custom built for me.

I followed the steps you have provided, and I am still having the same issue here. After performing a force shutdown repeatedly for 3 times, I'm given the "blank" screen again and am unable to see what I'm doing. I'm certain that the steps you have provided worked for me, and that the Automatic Repair screen is running, but my monitor refuses to display this screen.

My monitor works perfectly fine on everything else however, so I'm unsure why I'm having this issue on these screens.

Additionally, I'm locked out of my account as it is telling me that my PIN is unavailable and prompts me to "Set up PIN" on the lock screen. The issue that caused this was from a Clean Boot mistake, where I had forgotten to hide the Microsoft services so only the Non-Microsoft services would be disabled. I'm not sure if this adds to my issue.

I've used my laptop, which is in Windows 10, to access the WinRE and it works perfectly fine. I've also created a bootable version of Windows 11 on a USB Flash-Drive which I have plugged in to my PC currently.

Also, would I need any additional cables for my monitor to view these screens? (It only has one HDMI and the power cord, and my PC only has one HDMI port too, my monitor also allows for a VGA cable too which may work better than a HDMI)

My Monitor won't display the WinRE/Advanced Startup

    4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
    1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
    2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
    3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
    4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
    5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
    6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
    7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).
    That's it. Good Luck.
