    my mouse clicks/touchpad dont work properly


    Hi there,Starting form the scratch, I have an HP laptop and its been almost 3 years using it.One day I accidentally spilled a little water on the touchpad of my laptop. I removed the water with tissue paper but after some time the right click button of touchpad was not working. Along with the button, two/three/four finger gestures and two finger tap for right click was not working too. Not sure if the tissue made something wrong inside the touchpadI started using a mouse. Now while using a mouse i realized that i have to right click before making a left click whenever a dialogue box comes up

    Touchpad mouse will not click

    I bought a Toshiba touchscreen a couple weeks ago and I just got the windows 10 update. I am having trouble with the touchpad mouse. It will move but will not click. I went into settings and everytine i restart the computer I have to

    and enable the device it only allows to

    move will not click. I go the the drivers to update and tells me I have the latest version. Any suggestions to get the touchpad mouse working properly please let me know. Thank you

    Mouse/touchpad click doesn't work

    @Lance1: I have tried the driver you suggested but unfortunately it does not seem to have had any effect (I still dont get a Dell Touchpad option) after I installed it and restarted my laptop. Is there anything else I should have done?

    @Bastet: I do have a touchpad option, and when I go to Additional settings at the bottom I get the same Mouse properties window

    Am thinking about backing up my files and simply resetting the laptop. What do you think?

    Double click on touchpad and mouse not working

    2 or 3 days ago double click to open files and quit working w/the mouse and the touchpad.

    I see no settings describing double clicking in for the mouse or touchpad. I have gone to the device manager and looked for mouse driver updates - there are none. I do not see the touchpad listed in device manager.

    I am using an ASUS FX504 i5 8th gen.

    I appreciate any help.
