Windows 10: My mouse constantly disconnects and i’m unable to figure out why

my mose and other devices disconnect whenever I move my mouse too much.My mouse has continued to disconnect whenever I move it too much causing it to reconnect, then disconnect and repeat until it either stays connected or just stops working entirely until I restart my computer. Also, when other other devices are connected like my Xbox controller via Bluetooth, they also disconnect **sometimes** until eventually reconnecting back however these problems aren't as bad since they normally happen right after my mouse disconnects. After going into device manager I see that there is a warning sign

Mouse constantly disconnects after not being used for a while

Hi,

I have a problem with my Microsoft Modern Mouse constantly disconnecting after few seconds of not being used. It's distracting and seriously messing with my workflow.

At the moment I've followed the steps to prevent windows from turning it off:

1. Enabled automatic Bluetooth Support services in services.msc

2. In device manager disabled power management (both human interfaces and bluetooth devices)

3. Updated to latest intel wireless drivers that the automatic detector suggested

4. Kept windows up to date, including security updates

At the moment I'm at a loss as to what else there is to change apart from messing with registries which I'm unfamiliar with.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have already tried all of these steps.

My system works fine with another mouse. But I'm still unable to use the Sculpt mouse since updating M & K Center

 

Intolerable situation with Sculpt comfort mouse disconnecting constantly

HOW DO I GET SUPPORT FROM MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT DIRECTLY?? THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 YEARS.

I have 2 of these mice and have had continual problems on 3 different PCs.
BECAUSE MORE THAN ONE PC AND MORE THAN ONE MOUSE IS AFFECTED, THIS MUST BE A DESIGN FLAW WITH EITHER THE MOUSE HARDWARE OR DRIVER. The mouse disconnects during use at seemingly random intervals. This can happen
hundreds of times a day.

1. Turning the mouse off and on has no effect.
2. Turning bluetooth on and off has no effect.
3. Disabling power management for the mouse has no effect.
4. In the past I've managed the problem by sleeping the PC and when it wakes, the mouse starts working again. However doing this
   hundreds of times a day is extremely time consuming.
5. I recently discovered that if I launch the Mouse and Keyboard center app, connection is reestablished. However, leaving the app running does not solve the problem either. The mouse will still disconnect and the app has to be restarted to
   fix the connection.
6. A solutions has been suggested (see link below) that involves rolling back the bluetooth driver so that the 'Microsoft Generic bluetooth driver' replaces whatever is currently there but, a) I can't roll back the driver, the option is greyed out and b) I
   can't find a MS Generic bluetooth driver on the web.
