Windows 10: my mouse not working

HELP MY MOUSE NOT WORKING


so basically i installed the newest update of microsoft this week (the one with the change the color of you thingy and the one in the search box)

it took about 1hour after like 3 days my mouse's red light was starting to fickel like it was plugged and then it wasnt even though my mouse was plugged to the computer. after a while figured out that my mouse work at certain angles like if i put it up at an specific angle it will work but if i put it in my table it wouldnt work


I figure it was because of the update . I looked up the new update (last update everything work perfectly) and nothing was popping out about a mouse not working | (and my mouse dosent have a virus ) DUH | i also have antivirus but nothing tells me of an virus and i dont think is the mouse cause i can plug it in.. in another computer




HELP IS IN NEED(sorry i just wanna play games in my laptop ) ANSWERS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.
