    My mouse often scrolls 6 lines unexpectedly while it scrolls 3 lines in normal times


    I'm currently facing with an issue.

    I've set the vertical scrolling wheel as 3 lines. Nevertheless, if I stay in a page without clicking for several seconds and attempt to scroll down or up after that, the mouse will scroll for 6 lines per time.

    The mouse properties setting is like this, but the issue still exists.

    Is there any solution for this issue?

    Mouse & Touchpad Settings - line scroll settings

    There appears to be no way of permanently saving line scroll settings in Mouse and Touchpad Settings.

    If the computer is only put to 'sleep', the settings remain unchanged, but when fully restarted my personalised scroll line settings (4 lines) always revert back to their default position (30 lines).

    And advice?

    Hello,

    Your suggestion doesn't work (I've tried it as well before asking this). I set it to 3 lines but it only scrolls one line instead of 3 in navigation pane. I then tried setting it to 6 and it scrolls by 2 lines instead of 6.

    scroll lines at mouse and touchpad settings.

    I set my scroll lines setting to 15 lines but everytime I restart it goes back to 3 lines. Can anyone help me to set it to 15 lines as a default setting. Thank you.
