Windows 10: My mouse pointer goes missing and trackpad doesn't work

Sometimes the mouse cursor appears and sometimes it doesn't. When the cursor appears I see "Mice and other pointing devices" in Device Manager, but this option disappears when the cursor misses. If I plug USB mouse, I can use it but can't work the pointer with trackpad. Updating driver, uninstalling and installing, nothing have worked till now.

My pointer disappeared. I have a trackpad and a touchscreen laptop. How do I reset the trackpad to display the pointer again?

Hi,

You can customize your mouse in a variety of ways in Windows. To change how your mouse pointer looks, you can follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the Start menu, then click Control Panel.
• Select Mouse, then go to the Pointers tab.
  
• Select the pointer you prefer from the drop-down list, click
  Apply > OK.

If you want to use a pointer that is not on the list, you can download it online. After that, go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers tab again, then click
Browse.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
