  1. My mouse triggers forward and sometimes disables left click when scrolling.

I'm running Windows 11 using a Logitech G PRO X Superlight and I have just recently started experiencing these issues. I have tried contacting Logitech Support and tried all the methods on YouTube but none of them seem to work. This mouse is way past its warranty and I can't afford to buy a new one so I need to fix it. The issue is whenever I am scrolling with the mouse on a computer not just mine I have tried it on other ones it always seems to trigger the forward side button and sometimes disables left click or only allows the pointer to move on a frozen screen. This is a pain for me as I

  2. Scroll wheel on wireless mouse always triggers 'back' function in windows 10

The scroll wheel on my mouse very easily triggers a back function in any internet browser as well as in windows folders. It is a nightmare. In windows 10, it seems I cannot even disable the vertical (or horizontal)
functions of the scroll wheel. Does anyone know how to adjust this setting? The # of lines that scroll can be adjusted, but this has no relevance, as soon as you do a '`quick' or `significantly large' scroll the mouse triggers the back function of whatever
you are working on and jumps back to the previous windows folder or website or email, etc that you were looking at. It is extremely frustrating.

I am using a brand new Lenovo Ultrabook along with the Lenovo wireless mouse/keyboard

I have also posted in the lenovo forum:

Any ideas? I thank you all in advance for any suggestions.

    Best regards.

    Logitech G603 Mouse Scrolling Issues

    Hi all,
For some time now I have been having really frustrating scrolling problems - not just with this mouse, but I have tried 2 others with the same results. When scrolling with the wheel, the screen will scroll a short way ( up or down) and then scroll the other way - like a 3 steps forward, 2 steps back! The number of lines scrolling is also random at times, but NEVER smooth. So annoying. I have tried all the mouse wheel stuff in control panel. Having to use the scroll bars is annoying
    Any help appreciated
    Regards

My mouse triggers forward and sometimes disables left click when scrolling.

Changing Scroll Wheel Left/Right Button Functions On A Mouse

Dead Internet Theory is a thing, no doubt, because I cannot find anything on

how to reassign functions to very specific mouse buttons! Eight billion people

    on the planet and...crickets!

So here is what I want to do:

I want to change what my scroll wheel left and right buttons do. Not the

backward/forward buttons, not the middle scroll wheel button - the

damn left and right horizontal scroll buttons!

Specifically, I want to assign the skip function to them (left/right arrow keys

on the keyboard) so I can skip forward/backward within a video, for instance.

They currently work in image viewer skipping to previous/next photos.

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Maybe someone knows a trick to do that within Windows? Or perhaps I can

use a third party application? And don't suggest Microsoft Mouse and

Keyboard Center because my mouse ain't Microsoft...and besides, Microsoft

Mouse and Keyboard Center can't reassign functions to those specific

buttons anyway (I've tried it on a Microsoft mouse on a different machine).

Please only suggest solutions you've tested or know for a fact work. I'm not

interested in empty ideas and "maybes"; don't have time for that.
