Windows 10: My mousepad is lagging and slow

This only started today when I charged my laptop at college, I never do this, I try to only charge it at home. However, whenever it's plugged in, my mousepad begins to lag a lot and it's hard to navigate pages. I have tried everything on similar questions, but nothing works. Could it be from the power source at college or something like that? It seems to be the only thing that changed for this to happen. My charger is also a little bit damaged wires are exposed on some parts, but it's the original that came with the computer. Can someone help me, please?PS: I have windows 11 pro

my mousepad curser has developed a background lag resulting in a transparent circle or square freezing the screen

 

Windows 10 Upgrade- Laptop Keyboard/Mousepad Lag

Since upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7, there is a lag between using my laptop keyboard and mousepad. I have an HP laptop that I bought almost 4 years ago and didn't have this issue until after the upgrade. The mousepad becomes completely unresponsive
after using the keyboard. I have to wait a few seconds before being able to use it again. I've seen that others are having issues with their wireless/USB devices, but this issue is with the actual hardware.

 

touchpad/mousepad randomly became super slow

i was texting with my friends on discord just about 30 minutes ago, my mousepad was acting fine and moving at the normal speed. i closed the tab and went afk for a few minutes, i came back and my mousepad was sooo slow. i can move it still, but its so
slow that its just annoying me so much. i cant do anything about it. ive looked it up and found nothing to help fix it, can someone help??
