Windows 10: my msi computer is not detecting my plugged in headset

yesterday i was listing to music on spotify when randomly my computer just stopped detecting my headset. astro a10 gen2 even though it was plugged in i tried everything restarting my pc restarting my drivers everything. i have been looking for 1 person that has been in my situation but i couldn't find one. i have even tried plugging my head set in to my xbox controller and it was working for my xbox. then i tried plugging in a different output device i plugged in some Onn brand earphones. but it doesnt detect them either so i know something wrong but i cant find what it is. i was gonna resta

MSI Gaming headset not detected

The headset looks exactly like this. It's not recognized by the OS, plays no sound, neither does the mike work.

There are no drivers that I can find on the MSI page.

To clarify, other headsets work just fine. Even cheap $10 ones (especially those).

So it's an issue with the driver apparently. It's new and never worked.

 

Jacks not detecting headset


It gives the response that the device is not plugged in. However I am sure it is. Why would by computer not be detecting the jacks?

EDIT: there is a constant low buzzing noise when the headset is plugged into my front jack

 

Computer won't recognize headset microphone

This is what i see in device manager. Im not sure if the Speakers/Headphones (Realtek High Definition Audio) is the one your saying to disable, as that is what is default in playback devices in the sounds panel.

Setting Stereo Mix as the default recording device and disabling everything else still didnt get the mic working, even when the headset is plugged into the microphone only audio port or the mic + sound audio port.
