Windows 10: My music folders are blank manila, but i want images on them. Please help!

On my old laptop, if i open file explorer and go to my beloved music folder, each folder has in icon image of the album within. Lovely to look at!! Now, with my new Windows10, all folders are just blank manila. I have tried all kinds of advice, none of which has worked, and I know I'm not alone. Please help.Windows10 Windows older version

How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

• Make a new folder.
• Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
• Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
• Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin

 

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

How do I make this music folder show just the album art instead of multiple images of the files inside the folder?

I did that once. As I remember I had to convert the art to a .ico file. That makes it an ICON. Then I could change the manila folder icon to that art image. So the folders looked like photos and movie posters. Unfortunately some of the icons would
default back to the manila folder image.
