Windows 10: My MyASUS application gets stuck initializing. Any fixes?

Very recently my MyASUS app on my windows 10 laptop has stopped working. Whenever I launch it, it starts initializing with a "Welcome to MyASUS" at the top, but the progress meter gets stuck at 50% or 90%. I've tried resetting the data, reinstalling the app, restarting my computer, but nothing seems to help. This is pretty important to me right now as I've got my battery capped at 60%, and without access to the app I can't change this. If there's any other way to change this cap outside of the app, that information would be appreciated as well.

Thanks for reaching out. I ran winver and it returned "Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1826)".

I just went through all the steps you listed out. Unfortunately, when I opened the MyASUS app, I'm still experiencing the same thing I outlined earlier.

Some things I should mention:

1. MyASUS was pre-installed when I purchased my laptop.
   
2. I have periodically updated some programs on my laptop using the Armoury Crate app. Specifically, under the Device and Component section, I updated the Device Kit - ASUS framework service.
   
   • The version of the ASUS framework service according to the app is "Version 3.0.0.4". The update was available on "Date: 2022/06/27" and I had updated it today on 2022/07/13.

MyASUS App Is Running but Is Invisible

Hello,

I've been having some issues with the MyASUS app. When I try to launch the app, the program icon appears in the taskbar. However, when I hover over the taskbar icon, the little preview window that pops up is blank. Whenever I hover over the preview window, it shows an invisible window on my screen. When I click on the preview window, nothing seems to happen.

I've tried various methods to resolve this.

• I've tried to Repair and Reset MyASUS via the Settings app.
  
• I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app via the Microsoft Store and made sure it was up-to-date.
  
• I used the ARMOURY CRATE app to update some software required by MyASUS.
  
• I have restarted my computer several times in the process.
  
• I have tried methods 1-6 of the following guide: https://www.minitool.com/backup-tips/windows-10-apps-not-working.html.
  
  • I am not willing to try methods 7-9 given my current time and work constraints.
    
• I've ensured that I'm up-to-date on any Windows updates that I needed to install via the Settings app.
  

Just several hours ago, I was using the app just fine. I primarily use MyASUS for the Battery Health Charging and TaskFirst features.
