MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 160MHz Wireless LAN CardMy network adapter configuration keeps resetting every time my PC reboots. It occasionally does so even when I haven't restarted by PC perhaps when it goes to sleep. It literally just does whatever it wants. I've set the band to be only 2.4GHz/5GHz, and it just chooses whichever it wants to. I want to set it up to be 2.4GHz/802.11n/20MHz just for a stable connection. Currently it is on 5MHz 802.11n even though Preffered Band is set to 2.4GHz, and so is Band Selection.I said it happens when the PC restarts and it does, but it also does thi

    Resetting Network Adapter

While I have read several suggestions for resetting the network adapter, they all involve rebooting the PC. I am wondering why the Windows Network and Internet troubleshooter doesn't reboot after resetting the adapter? Whatever it does appears (mostly) to solve my network connection issues and a solution that doean't involve rebooting would be an improvement.

IP configuration not valid - interference from ethernet adapter?

Solution 1: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1or Windows 10

    Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
    Step 2:

    Expand it (Network adapters).

    Step 3:

    Select your network adapter

    Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
    Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.

    Step 6:

Then select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.

    Step 7:

Now choose the “Manufacturer’s drivers” from the list of two and then click next.

    Step 8:

After the completion of the process just restart your PC and check if the problem is solved or not. If not, goto solution 2.

Solution 2: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1,windows10

    Step 1:

    Open command prompt.
    Step 2:

Just go on hitting the enter after typing the each command.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
    Step 3:

Now to check if the settings are disabled type:
    netsh int tcp show global
    then hit enter.
    Step 4:

Now the thing left is just rebooting your system and just check if the problem is solved or not and just give feedback.*chuckle*Thumbs

Wireless network adapter switches between two configurations

    Hello,

for a while now, I had a very strange problem: It seems that every time I reboot the computer, it randomly chooses between two configurations for my network adapter - sometimes, it's called WiFi2, and sometimes WiFi. This is extremely annoying because some
applications are bound to a specific adapter, and since they think it doesn't exist anymore, they stop working (this is also the problem with the virtual computer running on Hyper-V - the internet access is shared with the virtual adapter, but since only one
network can be shared at a time, this stops working every time the configuration switches)

    My setup:

    • OS: Windows 10 Pro (the problem also existed on Windows 8 Pro)
    • Adapter: Netgear WNA3100

If I can provide any additional information, please ask
