  1. My network Adapter goes missing

I own an ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA5061C laptop PC with a MediaTek WiFi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN card. Since last month, every time I plug the laptop PC to AC power, the WiFi disconnects and disappears from the Network and Internet Settings after a minute or two. This has happened even when I'm connected to two different WiFi routers from two different Internet service providers. Wireless adapter goes missing - Lenovo yoga 730

    Hi KatieRamdas!

I'm Louie, a Microsoft Community member and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. Hope you're doing well and safe there.

We recommend you to try the steps below and see if it works:

    1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and X at the same time. Then select Device Manager. You’ll be prompted for permission. Click Yes to open Device Manager.

    2. In Device Manager, click View and select Show hidden devices.

    3. Click Network adapters to select it.

    4. Click Action and click Scan for hardware changes.

    5. Double-click Network adapters to expand the list. See if your wireless network adapter (usually the adapter whose name contains the word “wireless”) appears among the list.

If your wireless network adapter doesn’t appear among the list, try to launch Network troubleshooter.

On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and type network troubleshooter.

Then select Identify and repair network problems in the list of search results to run the network troubleshooter.

The network troubleshooter will automatically detect the network problems on your PC.

You just need to follow the steps in the network troubleshooter and see if this issue can get fixed.

    Hope this helps.

    Sincerely,
