  1. My network adapter has not returned to the network adapter list after uninstalling it.

While attempting to amend a situation in which I could not connect to ethernet, despite trying multiple possible solutions such as a restart or trying another cable, I could not fix the situation. While trying to fix the problem I followed some information given by several online sources and uninstalled my network adapter driver. After restarting the pc it did not reappear as I had been told. I am now wondering whether the situation is fixable as many sources instruct you to click on the network adapter which I cannot find and press update driver. Any insight to this issue would be greatly a

  3. Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.

hide specific Network connection adapter from Network list

    Hi Mr @Brink ,

Is there a way to hide specific "Network connection adapter" from the "Network" list in system tray (network icon list)?
I have 3 network adapters, Ethernet,WiFi and Microsoft KM-Test Loopback adapter (name as KeyShot). Whenever I disable Ethernet and WiFi adapter, KeyShot adapter appears as an Unidentified network (SS below). I know I can hide it by disable the adapter, but I don't want to disable it because Keyshot app needs that network adapter to work on Win OS.

I want the network list be shown as SS below (I want to hide just KeyShot adapter from the list):
