Windows 10: My new computer appears to have data files from my old computers

    My new computer appears to have data files from my old computers


    I have a new laptop. I expected that the only data files I would be able to see are those that are on OneDrive. But my Desktop contains dudd icons leading to programs which I have not installed, and I appear to have hundreds of data files from my old computers. I was hoping to keep my new computer junk free. How could this have happened.

    Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

    This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:

    Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

    Suggestions on how to fix this?

    My old computer is an HP Pavilion with Win 10 Home Edition. My new one is HP Pavilion with Win Home. What is the best way to move my data from the old machine to the new one?

    have an old cd with data from 2002 that my current computer cant read. m essage is player does not support file type

    have an old cd with data from 2002 that I would Like to have.

    my current computer is un able to read the data in the newer format.

    windows media says it may not support file type

    suggestions?
