Windows 10: my new Dell 15 will not cast/has stopped to my LG TV after updating latest patches to the...

I have recently purchased a Dell 15 laptop, when I started the machine right out of the box it cast flawlessly to my LG Smart TV in windows 11. However, after downloading all the advised updates the laptop failed to cast to my TV. I followed all the instructions in terms of, resetting the TV clearing out and all existing network settings. Whilst the TV acknowledges receipt of the laptop Bluetooth signal after about 10 sec it terminates the connection failing to secure the casting signal. Given the number of times the exact same thing is happening to many other users in the last few weeks see

Cast to lg tv win 11

Windows 11 dell xps 13 9310 casting to lg nano tv , my laptop cast to the lg tv then after 5 seconds disconnects, occasionally it will stay on all day and then start doing this, now I cannot connect at all for more than 5 secodns. Casting to the tv seems to turn off the tvs wifi connection. Both use the same 2.4 g connection, have re started routers, have unplugged tv, have removed wifi saved connections and re done them....nothing seems to fix this?

My other laptop will cast and uses windows 11 ok however my problem la[top also worked well for 2 days then started doing this.

All my laptops and tvs are pretty new ie less than 6 months old.

 

Screen Share to LG TV stopped working. The TV is in the Devices List, but I cannot Share or Cast to it. It worked ONCE.

Screen Share stopped working on my new LG TV. It worked ONCE. Now, I can see my TV in the list of Devices available from my PC, but cannot connect to it. I got my Gateway android PC media contents on the TV. But the TV is not available on "Add A Device" in the "Project" settings. I CANNOT share the screen or Cast the PC to the LG TV. LG Chat "support" had me reset the TV to factory settings. I have turned everything off and on again. The wifi is fine. Screen Share still doesn't work. Help!

 

LG TV Set casting problem from Win 11

Good day - I have a similar setup using W11 desktop and Edge (latest releases for both) with an LG 65in TV .

Both are LAN hardwired. For as long as I remember, casting to the TV regardless of source (Internet or local system) was never a problem; whatever was in the browser, could be cast to the TV.

Now, for some reason the LG TV is available as a casting device only when using YouTube, or local photos/video (so far, that's all I've been able to confirm) The mere fact that "Not available for this site" is displayed when using "Cast Media to Device" from "More Tools" would seem to indicate there are now restrictions on what source and/or material can be cast to a connected device (wired or wireless).

I have been through setting all recommended flags, loading optional Wireless display services, Miracast confirmed, etc

Please advise :

• What has Microsoft changed with respect to casting using Edge.
  
• When did this change take place and specific reasons for the imposed limitation on what source(s) can be cast
