Windows 10: My new mouse won't connect

Discus and support My new mouse won't connect in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I just bought an iHome neon mouse, but it won't seem to work.     My new mouse won't connect


    I just bought an iHome neon mouse, but it won't seem to work. It says it's Windows compatible, so I don't know why it's having so much trouble working.

    I don't know if it's the wrong driver that was installed or if it's outdated for windows 10.

    Can anyone here help?

    connecting arc mouse

    I wanted to replace my old and very much used arc mouse 1349 for my laptop (windows 10) for a new one same type, but the new one won't connect.

    Can the old one and the new one work together on the laptop or do I have to remove the old one in order to connect the new one.

    I use the USB connection and have a dongle for each of the mouses.

    I want to turn off the touchpad PERMANENTLY

    I suspect this is a new feature so that in the event of a problem the user can control their pc when an external mouse won't work - especially a USB connected mouse. Mine is the same & I have a USB mouse.
