Hi James,

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

Let us know how it goes.

I understand that Microsoft Store is missing in your Windows 10 computer. We will certainly assist you with this issue.



For better clarity, please let us know:

1. Are you aware of any changes after which Microsoft Store is missing from your computer?
   
2. What is the version of Windows 10 installed on your computer? Press Windows Key + R to open Run window. Type winver and click on OK.
   
   
   
   We can try to re-register the built-in apps, one of which is Microsoft Store. Please follow the steps mentioned below:
   
   
   
   Method 1: Re-install Microsoft Store using Powershell
   
   
   

1. In the In the Search field in Taskbar, type
   Powershell. Right click on Powershell
   and select the option Run as Administrator.
   
2. Copy and paste the following command and Press
   Enter.
   
   Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
   
3. Restart the computer and check.
   

Method 2: Create New User Account.



If issue persists, check in a new user account and let us know the results.



Create a local user account

1. Select the Start button, select Settings > Accounts and then select Family & other users.
   (In some editions of Windows you'll see Other users.)
   
2. Select Add someone else to this PC.
3. Select I don't have this person's sign-in information, and on the next page, select
   Add a user without a Microsoft account.
4. Enter a user name, password, password hint or choose security questions, and then select
   Next.

Change a local user account to an administrator account

1. Under Settings > Accounts > Family & other users, select the account owner name, and then select
   Change account type.
2. Under Account type, select Administrator
   and OK.
3. Sign in with the new administrator account.

Login to the Store using your Microsoft Account and check.



If you are able to open Microsoft Store then,

Transferring data and converting the new account to Microsoft Account:



If the issue is fixed in new user account, then we would suggest you to transfer the data from the old user account to the new user account. Please perform the below steps to transfer the data.

1. Open File Explorer and click on This PC.
   
2. Open C drive and double click on Users folder to open it
   
3. Open the old user account folder and copy all its content
   except
   
   AppData
   
   Ntuser.dat
   
   Ntuser.dat.log
   
   Ntuser.ini
   
   Note: We would suggest Copy option and not Cut option.4. Now go back to the User folder and open the new user account folder and paste the content.
   
4. You might be prompted with replace the folder please click on replace and continue.
   
5. Once the file transfer is completed, login to the new user account and check the data.
   

To convert the new local account to Microsoft Account, you can follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows + I key from the keyboard, to launch
   Windows Settings.
   
2. Select Accounts and click on Your info from the left pane.
   
3. Click on Sign in with a local account instead and follow the onscreen steps.
   
4. Once the user account converted to a local account,
   perform step 1 & 2.
   
5. Click on Sign in with a Microsoft account
   instead and use your Microsoft Account.
