    My notebook keeps creating .sfk files


    Every time i download a video or music, another file with the same description (except it's .the original file format.sfk) in the same folder. No matter how much i try to delete them, if i turn on my notebook, they are there again. I haven't made any changes in my software nor hardware prior to this and it really doesn't depend on which program i use to download the files as well. It's not that big of a problem, but i'd like it solved. Thank you in advance.

    Cortana Notebook

    In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

    To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to Cortana.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.

    Is there a chance that you or someone else opened those original mp4 files with some other editing software?

    The info I found for .sfk files is that they are automatically created by any of; Sound Forge, Sony Vegas, Sony Acid Pro or a Sony digital media device when they open an audio file. Those .sfk files themselves aren't playable.
