Windows 10: my notification count icon is missing.

since i couldnt install the feedback hub for some reason. i'd make a "bug" report here. or i messed it up on my own. either way i need help. the notification count icon in the right of taskbar next to the action center is showing a bugged retangle. along with some other system components update and restart/shutdown buttons in the power button context menu in Start. the "do not disturb" icon still shows normally. i still dont know what caused the issue or how to fix it.

Missing Google Chrome system notification icon.

Please answer these questions for us:

1. Was there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
   
2. Are you able to see other notification icons?
   
3. Have you tested the issue on a different user account?
   

Please try this step and let us know:

As you have already tried enabling the settings in Google Chrome and Windows 10, I would suggest you to create a new user account by following the

link and test the issue.

Note- The notification icon will be missing if you access the Google Chrome in Incognito mode. Please access the browser in normal mode.

Safely Remove Hardware icon missing

Hi
In the last few days the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon has gone missing from my Taskbar. Also, if I right-click on the USB stick or USB hard drive in 'This Computer' the Eject option is missing.
In PC Settings/Personalisation/Taskbar/Notification area/Select which icons appear on the taskbar I have 'Always show all icons in the notification area' switched on & all items in the list are in the 'on' state including 'Windows Explorer (Safely Remove Hardware & Eject Media).
Any suggestions?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
