Windows 10: My nvme appeard as 2 disk one way larger than the ssd

Hello,I have a old nvme intel ssd 760p series 256gb i want to use in my computer, but when i plug it in it appear as 2 disk.One near the normal size of the nvme and on of more than a terra, i do some testing and u can put the file like you want between the two but together they can contain at maximum the size of the disk who seems normal.I wanted to use it to install Windows it contain the previous Windows i used so i tried format it but it seems that even after that their is still files of my old Windows in the normal sized one.Can someone help me sorry if i made any mistake, english

Upgrade m.2 NVMe 256GB SSD to a larger m.2 NVMe SSD

I see that a SN750 is the way to go.

If I move my User folder to the D: drive I may have problems as there is a User folder there along with the User folder on C: drive. That could lead to a complicated mess.

 

Issue with upgrading to m.2 NVME, Help?

I've done what "ignatzsonic" has done, multiple times.

Image the existing SSD to another drive, which could be the internal HD or an external one. Use the imaging software to create a bootable USB rescue drive. Swap SSDs. Boot from the USB rescue drive, and restore the image to the new SSD. Use Disk Management to resize the main partition if the new SSD is larger than the old, and the imaging software didn't already do that.

Is the laptop in question the ASUS FX553VD? A little Web search suggests that it supports NVME M.2 SSDs, but I wish that I was certain. It worries me slightly that Crucial doesn't list any M.2 NVME SSD upgrades for it.

 

Upgrade m.2 NVMe 256GB SSD to a larger m.2 NVMe SSD

I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC and would like to change the boot WD_Black SN720 256GB NVMe m.2 SSD for a WD_Black SN850 500GB NVMe m.2 SSD.There are 2 NVMe M.2 slots and already have installed a WD_Black SN750 1TB NVMe Internal SSD in the second slot as a Data drive.What is the easiest way to clone my present boot m.2 SSD to a new WD_Black SN850 500GB NVMe m.2 SSD?Would I have to purchase an External USB Gen 2 NVMe enclosure as I have USB Gen 2 slots on this PC?
