Windows 10: My object disappears when I try to move it in paint 3D

I am trying to recreate my roblox avatar in paint 3d but when I import the .obj file and try and move it, it just disappears and I cant select it anymore. How do i fix this?

Selecting Objects in Paint 3D

According to your description, you are experiencing an issue with Paint 3D not being able to select objects.

You can try the following actions:



Try closing Paint 3D and then you can open it again to see if it solves your confusion.

Try opening a moving Objects:

• If you can't move the objects, check to see if another tool or dialog box is open. Sometimes certain actions may lock up the ability to move or select objects. Close these dialog boxes or tools and try again.
  
• Make sure you're in selection tool mode. In Paint 3D, the Selection tool is usually the default, but if you accidentally switch to another tool, you may not be able to move objects.
  
• Click on objects to select them: In Paint 3D, you can select objects by clicking on them. Try clicking on a rectangular object to check if you are able to select it successfully.
  
• Using Box Selection: With the Selection tool, you can try using the box selection feature, where you click and drag the mouse to create a box that selects the included objects, and then you can move those objects.
  
• Make sure the objects are not locked: Sometimes objects can be locked, making it impossible to move them. In Paint 3D, you can check the properties of an object to make sure it is not locked.

Problem selecting objects in W10 Paint 3D

Hi any big users of Paint 3D out there? I've got this recurring problem where I an trying to point at a drawing object I've made with my cursor to select it - and it does not matter how many times I try or where I click on the object - its almost as if Paint 3D can't see that there is an object there. I get round it by grouping objects - spinning the whole pic around and then ungrouping and pointing at the object again to select. Sometimes that works , sometimes not. Its a right pain in the rear end! I've also tried looping around the object and again sometimes it picks it up sometimes not. I've also tried working in 3D mode - it works a bit better - but again not 100% and I find that view a bit awkward. Is there some surefire way of making sure when I'm point at something - Paint 3D actually selects it? In PowerPoint this is easy - because if you get a heavily layered pic with a lot of objects - you can use the Select Pane to cycle through the objects until you get to the one you want- but I don't think there is a similar function in Paint 3D? Thanks

I am looking for licensing of 3D objects in the extended library on Paint 3D. I would like to share some designs on thingiverse based on objects I found in that library. However, I don't want to do so if it violates your licensing.
