    my office 2003 will no longer install with it's valid key from the cd. any way to fix?


    Computer hard drive failed. Replaced drive and started reloading software from my original disks. Office 2003 install will not accept the key. Is Microsoft somehow blocking the install?

    I am running Windows 365 on Windows 10, but am trying to install Word 2003 and Publisher 2003 from an authorised Cd because there are certain features I prefer in the 2003 edition and want to use these occasionally I get past the install key stage and
    then get a message which says" Error 1303 C;\Programfiles(x86)Microsoft Office\OFFICE11. The only option I then have is to cancel. How can I load the 2003 version/

    Windows Update won't install Microsoft Office Suite updates

    In the last year I have installed and successfully activated the following:
    • Office 2007 Professional
    • Office 2007 Standard
    • Office 2003 Professional
    Activation was no problem because I have valid Product Keys.

    Did something change recently? Am I missing something?

    WIN10 and Office 2003 Pro

    If your Office 2003 apps do not appear in the list, then you can use Option Two, step 3 from that tutorial and browse this PC to find them.

    Choose Default Apps in Windows 10 - Option Two
