Windows 10: my old account was hacked

my old microsoft was hacked i made a new one and i rebought minecraft but when i try to log in on minecraft launcher it tries to log me into my old email and there is no option for me to switch the email at all and it tries to send a code to the old accounts email which i still have access to but when i put the code in it says its the wrong code it does the same thing for the xbox app aswell does anyone know a way i can swap it i already changed my microsoft account on my pc and on microsoft store

Ironically I've had the same crappy password since I made my Steam when HL2 came out and never been hacked, but I've had my Origin account jacked twice with a much more complicated password. 2 step on Origin fixed this problem, but just thought it was kind of funny. I went with 2 step on Steam to be safe too.

But there is a lot that you now have to do, and the sooner the better:

• Abandon your email accounts and get new email accounts
  
• Tell all your contacts not to open messages from your old account
  
• Freeze your credit reports
  
• Contact your financial institutions
  
• Be on the lookout for signs that your identity has been stolen
  

Whoever hacked your account knows everything about you that is in that account.
