Windows 10: My old Windows XP laptop is having technical difficulties.

Hello I have this old Windows XP Toshiba laptop. I tried using the “product recovery” disk to restore the operating system. But I’ve come across some issues. One of the errors I got setting it up was “ERROR: CreateFile 1. PHYSICALDRIVEOThe system cannot find the file specified.” My theory on this is the computer has no hard drive. The laptop was gifted to me by a friend who did not want it anymore. And he does not know if the hard drive got removed. I may have a look to see if that is the case. So has anyone got any idea on how I can fix this?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Technical Difficulties are happening tonight

I seem to be having technical difficulties tonight. My phone is having delayed messages through Facebook Messenger and my laptop says it wasn't fully up to date. I don't understand as I am always on top of keeping all of my computers up to date. It's supposed to be set to Automatic Updates anyways. Below is the screenshot of what my computer said. In regards to the phone, I was told by a friend that she was experiencing delayed messages through Facebook Messenger as well. She said the software on these iPhones always get buggy when they are about to release a software update such as iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11.
