my one drive is having syncing issues because the 1TB space is full. It will not allow me to clear space. It is due to tableau saving logs in the tableau repository file. when I go to delete the files, it says cannot be deleted. I have tried a million things and i still can't delete anything. everything is backed up to onedrive so i can't open or save anything because there isn't space which has rendered me unable to work

It was about he believes a 1TB drive is close to 990GB in size which 932GB would be max drive size.

In most cases, restore points can use a lot of disk space. To troubleshoot the issue, we suggest performing a disk clean up by following the steps below:

• On the Cortana search box, type Disk Cleanup and select the first result.
• From the Disk Cleanup tab, check the
  tick boxes next to the options you wish to delete and click
  OK.
• After the cleanup process, launch the Disk Cleanup window again by doing step 1.
• Click on the More Options tab.
• Under the System Restore and Shadow Copies, click on the
  Clean up... button.
• Once done, check if you have restored the missing disk space.

Hard Drive Space Simple Question

From that on the left hand side you do NOT have a 1TB drive, you have one nominally 250GB drive (it loses some space setting it up for Windows).

The rightmost unlettered 16GB partition probably contains the recovery image allowing you to restore the computer to factory default at some time.

The 3 unlettered partitions to the left side are required for modern motherboards but (only) total 2.5GB.

The remainder 220GB is your useable space. What is in the C and D drives would be identified as suggested by Treesize but the fundamental point is you do not have the 1TB drive you thought you had.
