Windows 10: My onedrive acoount still frozen after I free up some space.

My onedrive account is 0.1 Gb/5GB full but still got warn that account will be deleted and can't sign in . Everytime I sign in will receiver error code 0x8004def7. I don't know why I can't upload pic.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

trying to disconnect from Onedrive

It's most important that you go to onedrive.live.com and make sure that your OneDrive account is NOT frozen. If it is frozen then you need to take immediate steps to unfreeze it otherwise your files will eventually be deleted. If OneDrive is frozen then it may appear to be continually syncing but get nowhere.

Don’t worry, your files are still there. You just need to unfreeze your account to get access to your files again.

You will need to unfreeze your account, or your files will eventually be deleted.

How can I make sure I stay within the storage limit?

Check and compare the size of your OneDrive storage to the available disk space on your PC. If you don't have enough space on your OneDrive or your PC, you will have to move or delete some files, or reduce the number of files and folders.

If you don't have enough space on your OneDrive, you can:

• Choose to buy more storage.
  
• Delete some files and folders. View the largest files on your OneDrive.
  

OneDrive includes all files in your Documents, Desktop, and Pictures folders unless you turn off the backup of these folders.

Go to the OneDrive settings > Backup tab > "Manage backup" to turn off the backup of these folders if you wish.

After you fix your OneDrive account you can unlink from OneDrive in the OneDrive settings at the Account tab > Unlink this PC. But first, unfreeze your account and turn off the backup before you unlink.
