    My onedrive seems to be hacked and all my files are encrypted to a "miia" file extension...


    Today I went to my onedrive account and saw that ALL my pictures and photos are given a new file extension name at the end".miia". I'm unable to open them and I don't know when did this happen or how. And other personal files as well It looks like they're all hacked? Help please and thank you.

    Hi Iman,

    Error message 0x80071771 means that you need to restore the file encryption key in order for you to decrypt the encrypted files. On the other hand, you can still try these steps and see if it will work:

    • Right-click the file or folder that you want to decrypt.
    • Click File ownership and click Personal.
