    My Onedrive shared file on my pc has turned into a internet shortcut how do I change this...


    Shared folder in one drive was shown as files in my pc earlier. but now it was showing as Internal shortcut, I cant complete my work in one drive web. provide a solution to this Immediately..plz

    hello, thank you for the response, I'm having problems sharing files from OneDrive to a local PC, which previously was a folder file type, has now changed to an internet shortcut, how do I restore it? I have experienced this problem since Monday, June 10 2024, I experienced this problem on 2 PCs in the office, it seems like many people out there are experiencing this problem (Redirecting).

    I'm just following up so that Microsoft can fix this problem ?

    Thank you for your reply.

    I don't want to put files on the OneDrive, I have files from the one drive that others have shared with me which I was able to access all the time as documents on my own pc but now this has changed to an internet shortcut so each time I click on it, it sends me straight to the internet OneDrive.

    So basically I want the internet one drive documents on my pc again in files / documents.

    I am all logged in with the same email ect.
