Windows 10: My online "Documents" folder won't show in my File Explorer BUT shows in the OneDrive directory

The title says it all really, I got an online folder on OneDrive named "Documents" and the contents of this file won't show under C:\Users\jordan\Documents on my computer BUT it shows under OneDrive - Personal.


I don't know how to solve this, any ideas?

Documents folder shows both in and out of OneDrive folder, as well as in a "library"

Why does file explorer show my Documents folder both in OneDrive (where it really exists) and in my home folder (where it does not really exist)? And what is this library thing that also has a redundant way of accessing the Documents folder?

In other words,

1. if I go to C:\Users\<myname> there is no Documents folder, BUT
2. if click on my home directory icon on the desktop it DOES show me a Documents folder, an apparent conflict with number 1.
3. If I look at Libraries I see a Documents Library that contains the same Documents folder, an apparent redundancy.

This folder is actually in (and only in) my OneDrive folder. If I put a file in any of those places it shows up in all places, so it's really all the same place.

Are there multiple, unrelated, concepts conspiring to obfuscate things to the point where I might inadvertently delete something I shouldn't?

Directory system not showing properly

Some are in fact showing for OneDrive. I think when I had it set up I accidentally selected OneDrive by mistake during the setup process when restoring the system. Cause some of these are in fact showing links like below

C:\Users\scott\OneDrive\Documents

It seems like both Pictures and Documents folders are listed this way where as videos and music are showing as below

%USERPROFILE%\Music

just wish the normal folder name

If I change the pictures and documents to the same type line as line 2 will this resolve this issue?

Also I posted the below this also is OneDrive connected is there any way to just weed out the OneDrive issues?

Update: I also noticed that the PERSONAL listing in the registry settings is showing a link (like the OneDrive) for DOCUMENTS and there is also one DESKTOP that has same OneDrive link but does go to DESKTOP

Everything else in the list looks like below regarding how the address is displayed. Just with a different ending name depending on the location
