Windows 10: my output device is not working, except for my main browser which is chrome

Discus and support my output device is not working, except for my main browser which is chrome in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; At April 15, I noticed my Spotify had the error called "Can't play this now" however, the spotify I have one my chrome website, worked.     my output device is not working, except for my main browser which is chrome


    At April 15, I noticed my Spotify had the error called "Can't play this now" however, the spotify I have one my chrome website, worked. I didn't think much of it until I played Roblox with my friends and realized, that it had no audio, I went to check and Roblox's setting said "No Output Device", I tried troubleshooting but it said "No Device's Connected"... what should I do? For me, on my devices area, it shows two devices both called "Speakers High Definition Device", I tested both of their audios and the other one didnt, when I disabled said device the working device also got disabled, what

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

    I would suggest you to try these steps to see if it resolves the issue.

    • Go to Start > Settings > System.
    • Choose Default apps, then scroll down to
      Web browser.
    • Tap or click the browser that’s currently listed as your default, then choose Chrome from the list of apps

    I suggest you reverse it:

    Why is my Chrome browser not compatible with my Windows 7?

    This would immediately lead you to an answer:

    1. Unistall Google Chrome.
    2. Download & re-install Google Chrome.
